FAQs

  • We invite all currently enrolled or recently graduated university students from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including but not limited to basic sciences, clinical research, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and business. If you are actively engaged in research and looking to showcase your work, share insights, and connect with like-minded peers, this is the perfect platform for you.

  • We have an early application deadline and a regular application deadline. The early application will most likely be in mid-July, and the regular application will most likely be in mid-August.

  • The early application decision will come out by the end of July, and the regular application decision will come out by the end of August.

  • The application fee will cover two catered meals per day, venue booking, and conference materials such as poster boards/easels and merchandise. The fee is $60 per participant for the regular application cycle, and $40 per participant for the early application cycle.

  • The poster sessions and Lucid Communication Challenge on day 2 of the conference are open to the public. However, all other programming (including day 1 speakers/panels, catered meals, and merchandise) is limited to NRCP presenters.

  • We will refund anyone who requests it up to a week before the event (by Friday, Sept. 25th at 9:00am EST).

  • There’s no strict dress code, but business formal or casual is suggested.

  • Posters should be 24 in. by 36 in. (either horizontal or vertical). We will provide poster boards, easels, and pins, but if your poster does not fit those dimensions, please bring your own poster board.

  • Unfortunately NRCP does not have the fund to provide hotel accomodations/housing for presenters. We recommend booking hotels/Airbnb’s as soon as you can. Nearby hotels include The Inn At Penn, The Study at University City, and Homewood Suites by Hilton University City.
